Here is the starting point for average adult chest images with MLT-S:
Brightness- 21-23
Contrast- 20-23
LUT Curve- Chest 2 or Standard (chest 2 should be a little more contrasty)
Edge Enhancement - I'm usually at 6 to 9, but if your guys want less enhancement, you might try 4-5
Frequency- 7 - always at 7 for chest imaging
Noise Reduction- I usually have this around 2, but you may not need it
Dark Region- off
Bright Region- 9-11
If the image is too gray, you can go up a step on contrast boost.
Then under the Correct Proc tab, the 'D. Depend MTF' setting should be turned on for chest and up at 3. Canon Headquarters suggested turning this on for everything and always at 3. They said it will improve the image, but not increase noise. But that there is no visible difference seen on the Canon monitor, it will only be seen on the PACS monitors.
